Welcome to planDisney, Laura!
Thanks for visiting
planDisney with your question about Sanaa, a hidden gem at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village! With your trip just around the corner, let’s dive right in.
Sanaa offers two distinct dining experiences. Kuamsha Breakfast is a Quick-Service meal that doesn’t require reservations, making it a great option for a relaxed morning. For lunch and dinner, Sanaa transforms into a Table-Service restaurant, where reservations are required. These meals highlight bold African and Indian flavors - the Indian-style Bread Service with its assortment of delicious dips and spreads is a must-do for my family!
One of the best parts of dining at Sanaa is the breathtaking view of the Sunset Savanna. The most sought-after tables are by the large windows, where you might spot a wildebeest, zebra, or even a giraffe strolling by. While animal sightings aren’t guaranteed, the experience of watching them roam as you dine is truly special.
If you don’t catch a glimpse of many animals during your meal, I highly recommend exploring Kidani Village’s viewing areas. Just outside Sanaa, you’ll find the Savanna Overlook, a fantastic spot to get a closer look at the incredible wildlife. Keep an eye out for giraffes, cranes, waterbuck, Ankole cattle, impalas, gazelles, and ostriches! I’ll never forget the first time I stepped into the Kidani lobby and saw a giraffe gracefully wandering by - it was pure Disney magic.
I hope this helps with your planning, Laura! Enjoy your stay at
Walt Disney World Resort, and be sure to wave to the animals for me.
Kwaheri,
Candace
