Hi, Shawn!
Thanks for stopping by! I'm so happy that you saw my article and that it brought you here to the Disney Parks Moms Panel for help with planning your first Disney vacation!
Thanksgiving week is a fun; albeit busy time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! I did a search of the 4 Value Resorts and found availability at a few of them from the Saturday before Thanksgiving to the Saturday after. When you do your search, try adjusting your time frame by a day or two. You may find more options if you can be a little flexible on your dates. Since it will be your first visit, I definitely recommend that you try to stay on property!
Once you get your Resort all set, I recommend taking a look at some of the fun eateries. There are so many amazing restaurants! I feel like they're half the fun of our vacations! Reservations can be made up to 180 days prior to your arrival date, so you can already get started on making yours. Chef Mickey's,
The Plaza Restaurant and
50's Prime Time Café are just a few of my family's favorites!
You will definitely want to take advantage of
Disney's FASTPASS Service during your vacation. I recommend getting an early start each morning and getting them immediately upon entering a Park. Some of the most popular Attractions run out early in the day during the busy seasons.
I have so many more things to share with you but I'm just about out of room for my answer. Please feel free to
write back in as I'd sure love to help more with planning the details of your Pixie Dusted vacation!
