Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Keith!
I am so glad that you are planning early for your November trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! The
Holidays are a magnificent time to visit the parks and I think with your travel dates beginning on November 12, 2018, you have a good chance of experiencing the resort in all its holiday glory! Official dates for the Holidays in 2018 haven’t been released yet, but last year they began on November 10. The parks will start to transition from Halloween Time to the Holidays immediately after Halloween night and the busy little elves work quickly to festoon nearly every inch of the parks with decorations. You will want to keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog in the coming weeks for the official announcement of the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort.
If the Holidays are, in fact, in full swing when you visit, there are some things that should be at the top of your must-do list. First is “it’s a small world” Holiday. This jaw-dropping overlay features holiday decorations from floor to ceiling and the original tune is enhanced with traditional holiday music. But the most exhilarating thing about this seasonal attraction is when the façade lights up at night! Check the entertainment schedule to see when “it’s a small world” Holiday and Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle are illuminated each night. Additionally, make time to watch the whimsical A Christmas Fantasy Parade during the day and don’t miss the “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks lighting up the sky at the end of the night.
I hope this information was helpful. Have a very merry time at the Disneyland Resort!
