Hi, Saw you answered a question about fireworks during evenings at disney world(MK), I went to the link and looked at calendar for 11/11/2010, just says park closes 7pm. Can you tell me if they would still be doing fireworks at 7? Thanks for any info.

    Hi Wayne,

I LOVE fireworks at Disney! They are amazing & always the perfect end to a magical day.

The Magic Kingdom (MK) is scheduled to close on 11-11-2010 at 7 p.m. because it is one of the nights that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) is scheduled. On evenings that MVMCP is held, the nighttime fireworks ("Wishes") are not held.  However, guests who are attending MVMCP will be able to see the Holiday Wishes Fireworks which are scheduled at 9:30 p.m. on those evenings.

MVMCP does require a separate special event ticket to attend & only those Guests with the special event tickets are allowed to enter or remain in the park when the party begins. Guests who want to spend the day at the MK & attend MVMCP on the same day, will need two different tickets - a regular ticket for admission during the day & a ticket to MVMCP for that evening.

MVMCP begins at 7:00 p.m. & lasts until midnight. Once party goers enter the park, they are given a special wrist band which indicates they have tickets to this event. Cast Members will be stationed at the entrances to the different themed lands. Guests who aren't wearing wrist bands for the event that evening will be asked to make their way down Main Street to exit the park.

Please feel free to come back with other questions during your planning! Wishing you magical memories :-) Allison
