I saw an answer by Jackie that mentioned a Sofia dress for sale at the World of Disney. Is this the same as the dress I could buy at my local Disney Store? Or is it a nicer version? Thanks!

    Hi, Kari!

Thanks so much for stopping by with your question! I'm so glad you saw my answer about the new "Sofia the First" transformation package! The Cast Member I spoke with this morning was excited to tell me all about the "Sofia the First" costume. She said it's adorable!

In my experience, the costumes that are sold at the local Disney Stores are slightly different from the ones sold in the Disney Parks. Sort of like how the costumes you might find at a party store are different from the ones you might find at a bulk warehouse store. My daughter has a TinkerbeIl costume that we purchased from the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Cinderella Castle a few years ago and I feel that it's a higher quality than other ones I've seen. The accessories are just beautiful too! I think the Fairy Godmothers stitch some extra Pixie Dust right into the costumes and accessories you see at the Parks! :)

I hope that helps! Please don't hesitate to write back in if we can help with any other questions you have, Kari!

Wishing you a Pixie Dusted day!
