Just saw your answer about the diff betw value and moderate. Could you tell me the difference between moderate and deluxe resorts. Have stayed at moderate (POR and CBR) in the past. Thinking of WL for our next visit. Is it worth the difference in price

Hi Karinne! Thanks for asking, I looove talking about all resorts! Here's the breakdown of differences for Moderates vs. Deluxe:
Rooms - the room size is larger - 344-476sq ft, queen beds and a day bed are standard, so you can sleep at least 5, and a balcony. There are also interior hallways vs. outdoor ones. The rooms themselves just feel more luxurious and relaxing.
Unique transportation - all three of the monorail resorts (Grand Floridian, Contemporary and Polynesian) are Deluxe, but even those without a monorail offer a boat to one or more of the parks, with the exception of Animal Kingdom Lodge (which really is its own attraction with the animals on the savanna)
Dining - all the Deluxe resorts offer multiple table service restaurants, including signature dining, in addition to quick service dining. Most offer character dining as well.
Amenities/Recreation - valet parking and child care centers are available at all Deluxe resorts, as well as kids activities, full room service, use of fitness center, suites, and concierge level rooms with use of a Club-level lounge. Deluxe resorts have amazing feature pools, lots of shopping, watercraft rentals and other resort activities too.
Now, Wilderness Lodge in particular, is one of my favorite resorts. The minute you walk in the doors, you are surrounded by the sights, sounds and smells of the resort. I always take a deep breath when I walk in and my stress level instantly drops! Personally, I think it is very worth the price if you want to enjoy a resort as much as the rest of your vacation. For me, part of the fun of a Disney vacation is truly feeling like you are far away from the real world. I could literally spend a week at a deluxe resort and never even step foot in a theme park.

I hope this helps you make your decision about Deluxe vs. Moderate resorts and you'll give Wilderness Lodge a try! ~Suzannah
