I saw that an adult of 21+ can bring 2 bottles of wine or 6 cans of beer, but is that per adult, or per group?

Ahoy there, Christopher, and welcome to planDisney!

The Disney Cruise Line Alcohol Policy states that each Guest 21 years of age and older can bring a maximum of 2 sealed bottles of wine or champagne (no more than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no more than 12 ounces) onboard.  The alcohol must be in your carry-on bag, not your checked luggage, or it will be removed.  I suggest using a small roller bag as a carry-on because you will need to carry this bag with you until your stateroom is ready.

If you do not want to pack the wine or beer, you can pre-purchase items at least three days before embarking.  There are also nightclubs and lounges throughout the ship where you can purchase a glass of wine or a beer.  You can buy bottles of wine during dinner in the rotational dining restaurants as well. I like to book a beverage tasting during my advance booking window.  Offerings differ by sailing, but if you like beer, there may be a beer tasting available during your cruise.  The Disney Cruise Line Beverage Team is very knowledgeable, and I always enjoy getting suggestions from them.

Christopher, if you have any other questions, my planDisney pals and I are here to answer them.

    Cheers!
