Congratulations on securing a reservation for
Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers located at
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disney's Hollywood Studios. This is definitely a one-of-a-kind experience that you and your Mouseketeer won't soon forget. The Gatherers have stocked the workshop with an eclectic mix of pieces and parts from across the galaxy, and you'll be using those parts to construct your very own lightsaber!
As a planDisney panelist, I absolutely LOVE to plan, and I always like my plans to be neat and organized. For that reason, I completely understand your concern, but in this case, it doesn't really matter much! I recommend staying as calm as a Jedi and not worrying about who is currently listed as the builder. The important thing to know is that the experience area is limited to the builder and one additional Guest, and at least one person must be age 14 or older. When you check-in at the Workshop, just let them know that your son will be the builder and you (or someone else) will be joining as the Guest - they'll take care of everything from there!
