My 6yo has been saving up his money for our Disney trip next week. Does the Lego store in DS take Disney gift cards or is it better to get him a Visa Gift Card? I’m assuming Disney is still cashless?

Welcome back to planDisney, Charmaine! Are you getting so excited about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort next week? Shopping is one of my favorite things to do when I visit The Most Magical Place On Earth, and it sounds like your son has plans to shop 'til he drops!

Charmaine, The LEGO Store at Disney Springs does accept Disney Gift Cards as a form of payment. Putting your son's spending money on a Disney Gift Card is a great way for him to keep track of and be in charge of his budget, and it's definitely my number one recommendation for all parents who want to help their kids shop for souvenirs. You can purchase the actual card and keep it in your wallet, or you can buy a digital card and keep track of the balance on your phone! Since you mentioned it, I do want to let you know that Walt Disney World Resort is not cashless, and cash is also an acceptable form of payment at The LEGO Store as well as other merchandise locations. Whatever works best for you will be fine!

I hope this answers your question, Charmaine, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
