How do I save something I want to do during my trip to Disney Magic Kingdom on May 18, 2022? I have the app and want to save to MyTrip. Thank you. Janet

    Hi Janet, welcome to planDisney!

This teacher can't live without my planner, this mom can't live without my Google calendar, and this Disney planner cannot live without the My Disney Experience mobile app. I enjoy having all of my Walt Disney World Resort vacation entitlements in one place, I love being able to make plans with Family and Friends, and I appreciate being able to personalize my itinerary through the complimentary Disney Genie service and the "Add to My Day" feature.

Once you have valid admission and theme park reservations linked to your My Disney Experience account, Janet, you can use Disney Genie service to customize your park preferences. Start by clicking the three small lines at the bottom right of the app's home screen, then "My Genie Day" and "Get Started Now." Claiming your must-do experiences will personalize your Tip Board (three small lines --> Tip Board) during your park days, bringing selected attractions, entertainment offerings, and dining preferences to the top.

You can also start adding specific must-do experiences to your Future Plans now, Janet, by clicking on the magnifying glass on the bottom of the My Disney Experience mobile app's home screen and entering a specific experience. Once an experience is selected, such as Festival of Fantasy Parade or Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom park, you will click on the icon of the clipboard and pencil that says "Add to My Day." Select the date and time and it will automagically be added to your Future Plans (three small lines --> Future Plans).

If the magical something you want to add does not fit in the category of searchable experiences, it is possible to add a note to your plans online. Start by logging into your My Disney Experience planning page, then scroll down and click the "Add More Plans" dropdown menu on the right-hand side of the computer screen. Click the bottom option next to the pencil icon that says "Notes." Add the date, time, and subject along with an optional location and description. You can also choose to share your note with other members of your Family and Friends list. This note will be immediately visible in your Future Plans after refreshing your My Disney Experience app. Notes can be viewed and deleted in the app but modifications to the note must be made online.

May 18 will be here before you know it, Janet. Please let planDisney know if there's anything else we can do to help make that day practically perfect in every way.

    Choose magic,
