How do we save money? We are poor college students wanting to celebrate our 21st birthdays in the most magical place on earth.

Hi AnnaMarie, and welcome to planDisney!

I remember the days when I was in college and funds were super limited, so I am right there with you when it comes to being able to budget and have a great time at Walt Disney World Resort! The good news is that you can visit on a budget and create some beautiful memories simultaneously.

First, I recommend no more than a three-night adventure because it will give you time to enjoy your resort, experience one of the theme parks, explore Disney Springs, and enjoy a ride on the available transportation options (separate attractions, if you ask me). Remember, you can always experience everything you missed on the next trip.

If you are looking for the perfect value resort stay, Disney’s Pop Century Resort is a great option because it will give you access to the Disney Skyliner. Speaking of the Disney Skyliner, you should plan to visit just one theme park and EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios are perfect for new 21 years olds. Personally, EPCOT would be the choice, especially if you travel during the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE. On the days you do not have the theme park visit planned, you can enjoy the resort pool and enjoy the day and night at Disney Springs. These are just a few options. What a way to celebrate your 21st birthday!

If you decide to visit, please return so that we can help you plan.

    Have the most magical birthdays!
