Is the Savannah dark at night for a Savannah View room at the AKL? I'd imagine the animals are not under flood-lights at night?!?! Please let me know so we can anticipate the view in the evenings and while getting ready for bed. Thanks! Great panel !!

    Hi Elizabeth!

Definitely no flood lights lighting up all of the animals at night!  In fact, there's a great activity at the Animal Kingdom Lodge available for all guests.  That's to look at the animals at night via night vision goggles.  It's free and it's a lot of fun.  Children especially enjoy that!

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is a fabulous hotel!  Be sure to make a dining reservation at Boma or Jiko; both are great Table Service restaurants.  Have a great time and write back if you have any more questions!
