Barbara from NH Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Just on Saturday, I was discussing our April trip with family. Wednesday, April 25 was evening EMH in Magic Kingdom. Checked today and it’s no longer listed! Still listed the week before and after. What gives?

    Hi Barbara,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for bringing your question to us. Your trip is right around the corner, and I bet you’re getting so excited!

While I can’t tell you why the Extra Magic Hours changed on your particular date, I can tell you that Walt Disney World Resort theme park hours, including Extra Magic Hours, are subject to change without notice. I completely understand how frustrating this can be – I’ve been there! The good news is that, in my experience, when park hours change, it’s often in your favor – Disney will extend hours when they anticipate larger crowds or if they have something new coming out that they think will draw more Guests to the parks.  My best advice for you is to keep your eye on the park hours, either online or using the My Disney Experience app.

Barbara, enjoy this last stretch of time before your trip! Despite this hiccup in your scheduling, planning FastPass+ reservations and seeing your trip itinerary take shape is always such an amazing part of the planning process, and before you know it your magical vacation will be here!

Wishing you a pixie-dusted planning process and trip,
