Hiya, Paul! Welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for sharing your question with us. It looks like your Walt Disney World adventure is just around the corner, and I’m sure you’re counting down the days, hours, and minutes until you're immersed in a world of magic (and eating all the Mickey-shaped snacks your heart desires). Let’s get you the info you’re looking for!
The Sassagoula River Cruise connects Disney Springs and the surrounding Walt Disney World Resort hotels: Old Key West Resort, Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Port Orleans - Riverside, and Port Orleans - French Quarter. If you're leaving from any of these resorts, then the only destination is Disney Springs, and if you’re leaving from Disney Springs, then your end destination will be one of these resorts (the boats usually have dedicated routes and do not stop at multiple resorts).
Keep in mind that the Sassagoula River Cruise schedule and operation are subject to water and weather conditions. Also, guests boarding the boats from Disney Springs to a resort hotel may be asked to show a valid room key, dining reservation, or experience reservation. You can read more about Walt Disney World water transportation
here.
If you’re headed to Disney Springs, then be sure to check out
Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar. Not only does this lounge have awesome drinks, second only to
Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto in my opinion, but you can spot Indiana Jones-themed artifacts and details all around the space. My favorite drink is the Shorty's Singapore Sling, but the Poisonless Dart is also great if you’re looking for something without alcohol.
I hope this info is helpful, Paul. Sail on back to planDisney if you have more vacation planning questions. We’re always happy to help!
Magical travels!
Matt
