Hi Agnes!
I'm so glad you've found your way to planDisney –– thanks for stopping by with your question. Can you believe you're only about 60 days away from arriving at Walt Disney World Resort? I know it might seem far away now, but believe me, these last few weeks are going to fly by! And speaking of your arrival, tomorrow is an important planning day for you because your advance dining reservation window will officially open around 6 AM. If you have any specific tables on your dining wish list, especially at popular spots like
Space 220 Restaurant, I recommend setting an alarm so you can begin searching as early as possible –– while you can technically make reservations beginning at 6 AM, I've been able to start booking as early as 5:45 AM in the past, so it might not hurt to start checking a little before the official start time.
I'm excited to hear that you're planning a stay at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa during your upcoming visit. Saratoga Springs happens to be one of my Home Resorts, so it definitely has a special place in my heart. But as much as I know you'll enjoy spending time in your newly-updated room, it sounds like you're ready to head out the door bright and early drop, so I've got some great news –– as part of the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration, Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel (which includes all Disney Vacation Club Resorts) can enter any of the four Walt Disney World theme parks up to 30 minutes early each and every morning during your visit with
Early Theme Park Entry. All you'll need to enter is valid theme park admission and a
Disney Park Pass reservation, along with your MagicBand or Disney MagicMobile pass.
While 30 minutes might not seem like a ton of time, it's possible to get a
lot done in that early window. In fact, on our most recent visit to
Disney's Hollywood Studios, my family was able to ride Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, and we were just stepping onto The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror right as that 30-minute was up –– it was awesome! However, if attractions are your priority, I actually recommend being inside the park about 30 minutes before that early-hours window begins. In my experience, Cast Members may allow Guests to line up for certain attractions before the park officially opens, so getting there a little early can help you secure a great spot in the queue.
Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, Agnes. I'm wishing you lots of pixie dust and plenty of DVC Membership magic during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
