Does Santa at Disney Springs hold babies for pictures? Or does an adult have to sit with Santa and pose for pictures? We want to bring our 4 month old but weren’t sure what the policies were.

Welcome to planDisney, Erin. I'm so excited for you to experience the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort for the holiday season!

Santa really is a jolly old elf, and a visit to tell him what you want for Christmas and get some truly spectacular photos is always a memorable experience. While he will interact and take pictures, he will likely not be able to hold your infant. After all, as my friend Melissa H. pointed out, he's been loading lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh and will be hauling a ton of them around on the big night. He's got to save up his strength! But don't worry, meeting Santa is always wonderful, especially in Disney Springs.

Speaking of taking pictures, the decor around this shopping and dining district makes wonderful backdrops...especially the trees along the Christmas Tree Stroll. Each of these trees is uniquely decorated, and there's a themed tree for pretty much everyone's interest. So find the tree that speaks to you and your family, and take a picture in front of it...or in front of all of them! It's truly a highlight of the season!

Erin, enjoy your visit to Disney Springs. And while you're there, be sure to check out the seasonal offerings at Swirls on the Water and Marketplace Snacks. There's always a tasty treat to indulge in! Reach out again if you have any other questions!

Christmas is a togethery sort of holiday,
