When does Santa come to California Adventure?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Marissa!

The Holidays at the Disneyland Resort bring all sorts of merriment and joy to the parks. One of the festive additions this time of year is that Santa Claus himself is available to meet good boys and girls and to hear their Christmas wishes. He arrives at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure Park when the Holidays officially begin on November 9, 2018. You can check the Disneyland app when you are in the parks to look up exact times to meet the jolly old elf. Santa will continue to greet Guests until Christmas Eve when he must hop aboard his sleigh to tend to his official Santa Claus duties. At that point, Santa Goofy will take over until the Holidays end on January 6, 2019.

Santa Claus can also often be found at the three Disneyland Resort Hotels starting a little later in the season. Look for information on those appearances on the Disney Parks Blog in the coming weeks. Plus, don’t forget that Santa is also the star of the show in A Christmas Fantasy Parade that performs twice a day in Disneyland Park. Be sure to check official calendar for exact show times.

I hope this helps! Have a joyous time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
