Santa is bringing my girls a trip to Disney world this year. The problem I am having is that we leave for Disney Dec. 23. How do I make it seem like the trip is coming from santa and not from us so that my older daughter does not ask questions?

    Hi Kathryn,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for sending us your great question.  There is nothing more magical than spending Christmas at Walt Disney World Resort, Santa has really outdone himself this year!

A few years ago, Santa gifted my family a trip to Walt Disney World Resort for the holidays.  Our elf on the shelf, Jingles shared the news with my daughter, by wearing cute Mickey Ears.  She had a suitcase all packed so she could join in our adventure and she also had a letter from Santa explaining his gift.  It was a truly magical moment.

If your family doesn’t have an elf on the shelf, perhaps Santa could write a letter to your children, explaining that this year his gift is happening early, since he wanted your family to enjoy Christmas at Walt Disney World Resort.  He could leave some cute necessities for the upcoming trip, such as Mickey Ears, and matching t-shirts.  Santa could also leave a note for your older daughter so that she could help surprise the younger daughter, making it even more magical.

Once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, don’t forget to take the time and visit Santa, the girls can show their appreciation for the early Christmas gift in person!

I hope you have a truly Magical Christmas at Walt Disney World Resort, Kathryn.  If you have any other questions, please let us know we are always happy to help and if you happen to see my family and I at Walt Disney World Resort over the Christmas season, be sure to say hi, we will be there as well!
