Welcome to Disney Cruise Line! It sounds like you might have a stop at
Castaway Cay or
Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point coming up. Both are island paradises, so you are in for a magical beach day with your family.
You will find different beach toys available for purchase on the island. While prices are subject to change, I believe the price for a bag of toys is around $25. These will be yours to keep, so rinse them off then you can take them home as wonderful souvenirs.
If you prefer, you may bring your own from home. I always brought some inexpensive sand toys that I picked up at a discount store, then took them ashore during our beach days. It is up to you, but sand toys are definitely suggested so your little ones can dig in the sand and build magical sandcastles! If you are lucky enough to have secured a cabana, sand toys are provided for you.
During your beach days, you will want to pack a bag with sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, and make sure to have a photo ID and your Key to the World Card. You will not need towels as these will be distributed as you debark the ship. You will find plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and swaying palm trees so find your perfect spot for your day in the sun.
