Hi Stephanie!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your upcoming Disney Cruise is going to be so exciting! My first Disney Cruise set sail on an itinerary through the Mexican Riviera. Each port of call was so beautiful. Having the opportunity to explore these exotic ports of call while being surrounded by the magic of Disney got me hooked on cruising with Captain Mickey!
If you have the opportunity, I always recommend booking
Port Adventures through Disney Cruise Line in order to see the culture and beauty of each port of call. Disney Cruise Line takes care of all the details, allowing you to sit back and soak in the sights! If you have a family of adventurers, exploring a new destination on your own is so much fun, too! Downtown
Ensenada will be just a 10 minute walk from where your ship will be docked. You'll find the majority of the tourist shops and restaurants all within a six block radius!
Cabo San Lucas will also have a downtown area, close to the pier, available to explore by foot.
Both Ensenada and Cabo San Lucas are resort destinations and considered "safe," but Disney Cruise Line always suggests that Guests be aware of their surroundings as well as their personal belongings. When my family explores different ports of call, my husband makes sure that his wallet is located in the front pocket of his jeans. I wear a small purse across my body that I keep hanging in front of me with all the pockets securely zipped.
Stephanie, I'm wishing you a cruise filled with exploration and pixie dust! If you think of any more questions, please come back and visit us again!
