Hi Tammie, welcome back to planDisney!
I see your trip is coming up soon and it sounds like you are going through the final details of preparing for your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! I also wear a smartwatch and I understand how you might not want to wear a MagicBand on the same wrist.
What you are describing is
Disney MagicMobile Service, which allows you to create a digital pass to enter theme parks, access
Lightning Lane queues, and charge to your Disney Resort hotel room. At this time, this service is only available to use on eligible iPhones, Apple Watch, or Google Pay-enabled Android phones.
While I know you wanted to use your smartwatch, your Samsung Galaxy 5 watch cannot access MagicMobile at this time. If your phone meets those requirements listed, you can still use that instead of wearing the MagicBand. To set up Disney MagicMobile Service, make sure that your tickets and/or Disney Resort hotel reservation are linked to your My Disney Experience account. Then in the My Disney Experience app, click the three horizontal lines at the bottom right of the screen and choose the tile labeled “Disney MagicMobile.” From here you will be guided through setting up your pass, selecting your pass style, and adding it to your digital wallet.
Tammie, when you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, you’ll still have time to see
Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom Park before its final show on April 2, 2023. If you’re visiting EPCOT, you can spend the day enjoying the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival before viewing the nighttime spectacular
Harmonious before it also ends on April 2, 2023.
I hope this was helpful, Tammie. Enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any more questions, please
visit me again soon at planDisney!
