I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with downloading the
Disneyland mobile app, as you will need it to use the
Disney Genie+ service. I see that the
app should be compatible with Android 8.0 and higher. I’m sure you have already tried the basic troubleshooting techniques like powering your phone off and on.
I know these kinds of issues can be frustrating when planning for your trip. You could try contacting the
Guest Services team that specializes in mobile app support at (714) 520-6222. They may have information specific to your device and be able to troubleshoot with you.
In case you can’t get it resolved in time, if you are traveling with others in your party, one of them could link your ticket to their account and manage the Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane selections together. Within the app, they can go to Tickets and Passes and link your ticket either by scanning the bar code or entering the ID number manually.
