    what is the sales tax amount on meals?

    Hey, Debbie!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. What a fan-tax-tic question? I went deep in the wallet to pull out some Disney Dining receipts from my last trip. I also did a little research to make sure if the tax rate was consistent across Walt Disney World Resort.

    Most of the Resort is in Orange County, Florida holding a tax rate of 6.5% while the most southern Disney Parks hotels and venues are in Osceola County, Florida holding a 7.0% tax rate.

    Disney Dad Tip: The lower tax rate will be honored in all four theme parks so you should be able to save some money by eating in the theme parks over the southern venues like Disney's All-Star Resorts and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Make sure to use My Disney Experience to make dining reservations at some of the best-themed restaurants in the world. I am so excited for your unforgettable trip!
