Is the Sake Bar still open at the Japan Pavilion in EPCOT? I’ve read there are Sake Flights offered there- but I cannot find this location on the Disney site nor the map of the Japan Pavilion.

    Kon'nichiwa Adriana,

Thanks for coming to see us here at planDisney!

The location you're thinking of is, I believe, the Mitsukoshi Department Store, which you can find in the ground floor of the Japan Pavilion at EPCOT.

This delightful store is always one of my favorite shopping destinations at EPCOT, and I simply love spending time there to explore all the treasures found there. In the rear of this amazing store, as you note, Guests could enjoy a variety of tastings at the Sake Bar.

When I gave a call to the Mitsukoshi Department Store, they shared with me that the Sake Bar tastings are not currently being offered. Information on when Sake Bar tastings might return isn't available just now.

The good news is that there is still so much to enjoy at EPCOT. If you're planning to visit, you can savor and sip your way around the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. And if it's sake you're seeking, you'll want to venture to the Global Marketplaces and visit the Japan marketplace for its offerings.

Here's hoping you get to enjoy a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
