Sailling on Disney Magic in Jan and my 13 year old will be just 2 weeks away from his 14th birthday but still wants to join the "older kids group". Can we sign a consent online to allow him ?

    Ahoy Barbara –

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are glad to hear about your upcoming sailing on the Disney Magic in January – you do not have too much longer to wait! I am happy to assist with planning for your teenage pirate to enjoy the best of both worlds on the Disney Magic.

Since your pirate teen is 13 he is eligible to participate in Edge, an exciting club for tweens and teens ages 11 to 14. There is no need to enroll him since he will be able to come and go at will to visit this cool hang-out. If after trying Edge he decides to go to Vibe, a club for teenagers ages 14 to 17, he will need you to fill out a parental consent form in order to be allowed. Visit with the Youth Counselors in Vibe if that is what he decides to do.

Definitely let him try Edge first because it is such a fun place to be. He also could try out Vibe during Open House without any consent needed at all. Thanks for cruising by with your question, Barbara!
