Hi there, Vanessa!
So glad you decided to “be our guest” again at planDisney with another great question!
To paraphrase what they would say in
Beauty and the Beast, “the Room Service Team Proudly Presents Your Dinner (or Lunch or Breakfast or Snacks)!”
Room service is a fun feature of a Disney cruise, isn’t it? My family and I really enjoy sitting on the verandah having some snacks while we take in the scenic views. My personal favorites are the “All Hands on Deck” cheese plate and the Buffalo Chicken Wings. And try the Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars, they’re delicious, don’t believe me, ask the dishes! The best part? It’s available around the clock (thanks, Cogsworth) and almost all menu items are included in the price of your cruise.
“Put Our Service to the Test!” I love how you are already thinking ahead about ways to express appreciation for the amazing crew...
gratuities are an incredible way to show how much you are grateful for all that they do. My friends at Disney Cruise Line tell me that currently, Guests have several options for tipping. They may give cash to the Cast Member delivering room service. If you are reluctant to use cash, that’s totally fine. Fortunately, Guests can also write an amount for the tip on the room service receipt and it will be added to their stateroom folio. Either way, it’s a wonderful expression of gratitude to thank them for outstanding service.
Vanessa, after you unfold your room service menu, take a glance and then please be our guest at planDisney again if you have any additional questions. As Belle would say, I'm wishing you “adventure in the great wide somewhere” during your upcoming sailing.
Bon Voyage!
Sherry
