We are sailing on the Wonder soon and my 14 year old son has a question. Is there usually a talent show during a 7 day cruise similar to other cruise lines? He wants to share his talent of yo-yoing.

    Hi Rochelle,

Your son sounds like a really cool teenager.  Those yo-yo tricks are unbelievable...I saw someone on TV doing them the other day and I couldn't believe the stunts!

Please tell your son that I wish I could guarantee that there was going to be a talent show onboard, but activities are always subject to change.  He would have to check the Personal Navigator, Disney Cruise Line's daily newsletter to check out the following day's scheduled activities.  Now, here is one thing I do know...my daughter, who is also 14, has participated in most of the youth clubs over the years.  There have been MANY times that one of the activities scheduled within the clubs has been a "show and tell" and talent show kind of activity.  Tell him to bring the yo-yos because I'm sure he'll get the opportunity to impress his new friends (& he will meet a lot of kids) and all of the youth counselors.

I hope this helps Rochelle.  Please tell your son that I think his talent is very, very cool and to stick with it....have a magical sailing!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
