Hello again, Joann! It's a pleasure to help you plan for your sailing on the Disney Wonder.
Let's get right to it, shall we? As it turns out, the queen-sized bed in your
stateroom cannot be split into two smaller beds. Most stateroom categories will sleep 3 to 4 guests, with a queen bed (double), a sofa bed (single), and an upper-berth pull-down bed (single) if it sleeps 4. If you have a Deluxe Family Oceanview with Verandah stateroom that can sleep up to 5 guests, there is an additional lower wall pull-down (single) bed.
Staterooms aboard the Wonder have plenty of space to stow your luggage under the queen bed in the center of the room, and lots of drawer and cabinet space so you can unpack and feel right at home. There is also ample closet space to hang your clothing. If your clothes get wrinkled in your suitcase, there is a self-serve laundry area where you can iron your own clothing, or you can request that your items be pressed by the Crew Members. My husband typically requests that his shirts be pressed right away after we board the ship so that they are ready for when we dine in Palo, a personal favorite cruise tradition for us.
Palo is an adult-exclusive restaurant that serves dinner and brunch on select days of your sailing. I absolutely love the menu for both meals and feel that you cannot go wrong! Reservations for Palo can be made once your
onboard booking window opens for your sailing, as long as your reservation is paid in full. If you are unable to make reservations, you can inquire once onboard for availability. Palo is not included in your cruise fare and, as such, is an additional fee, but one that is well worth it in my opinion, should you choose to indulge.
Sail back to us again soon!
