Hi there, Jeanette!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your Disney Cruise Line vacation is coming up so soon and I know you must be so very excited! My family will actually be on the same voyage as you and we just started a 30-day countdown (we wait until 30 days out to avoid the “is it tomorrow??...how many more days??...type questions!) at home so we are eagerly anticipating the fun!
The onboard
Youth Clubs are a big reason why my family sails with Captain Mickey so often! My boys love playing in a space full of fun, games and entertainment and my husband and I love the free time! When my boys are at the Youth Clubs, you can find me beelining it to the Quiet Cove pool with my book (that I have been trying to read at home for weeks with no success) for some relaxation and my husband will usually end up in the Buena Vista Theatre catching a first-run movie or taking a nap in our stateroom (ha!).
Hours for the Youth Clubs vary each day, but on port days they will certainly be open earlier than
excursions begin so that parents can check-in their children and make it to their onboard meeting point for their day onshore. Check the Personal Navigator or Navigator app for the exact hours, but they will be open and ready to take in the kiddos! You will want to make sure your kiddos get breakfast, but if you will be gone during lunchtime, they will serve lunch in the Youth Clubs. If your child(ren) have any dietary restrictions, be certain you order a specified meal from your dining room server the day before so it can be delivered when lunch is being served in the Youth Clubs.
Wishing you a WONDERful and magical adventure! Hope to see you on board!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
