Sailing the Wonder for December 26-January 2 to the Mexican Riverera. We are first time cruisers as well as first time DCL's. Is there a dress code for the kids (3 and 5) for evening? have you expereined the weather this time yr in Pacific and Mexico? tks

    Hi, Stephanie!

Congratulations on your first cruise aboard the Disney Wonder to the Mexican Riviera! My family and I are actually sailing this itinerary in November and will have first-hand information available for you shortly.  You are welcome to write back, and I'll give you the scoop!

Dinner in the main restaurants is considered cruise casual for all guests -- which means no shorts, tank tops or swimwear. There are more casual dining options available in the evenings including the quick-service restaurants located by the pools and, of course, room service. For cruises of 7+ nights, there is a formal evening and a semi-formal evening -- which for my kids, I dressed the same way for both nights. For the remainder of the cruise, the boys wore khaki pants and collared shirts, and my daughter wore nice pants and a top or a dress.

As far as the weather, I'll be able to give you a better idea once I return, but from what I understand, it's pretty near perfect year round -- sunny and 72 degrees! Keep an eye out at Weather.com closer to your trip in order to pack appropriately, and let me know if you think of more questions.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
