Disney Treasure. I sailed aboard her last fall, and she's gorgeous. I loved every minute! You're also on the right track with wanting to dine at
Palo Steakhouse. We never miss it when we cruise. In fact, on my most recent cruise last month, we dined there twice, once for brunch and once for dinner. Thanks for inspiring such wonderful memories for me today. But enough about me; let's talk about you.
You'll find out your dining rotation as soon as you set up your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for use on board the ship, which you can do once you're in range of the ship's WiFi, DCL Guest. This could be possible inside the terminal, but if not, you'll have access after you board the ship. You'll connect to the WiFi, which is free to do, open the app, select that you're on board and follow the rest of the prompts to get started. Then, you'll be able to see your dining rotation in your plans. If you've made a reservation for Palo that conflicts with a menu you want to experience in one of the dining rooms, there will be a location, also noted in the app, where you can go to request dining changes. When I sailed on the Treasure, it was in
Triton Lounge. It may have changed since then, though, so definitely check in the app.
I did a little digging to find out when
Pirate Night will be for your sailing and learned it takes place on night 4, which is the day you're in St. Thomas. The Pirate's Rockin' Parlay Party is not to be missed, which concludes with fireworks at sea. This class of ships has the best pirate party, in my opinion, so you're in for a real treat.
If you have time before your reservation at Palo, consider going early enough to have a beverage in
The Rose, which is a beautiful lounge adjacent to the restaurant. It features the most elegantly appointed Beauty and the Beast themed decor and floor-to-ceiling windows with views that can't be beat. I try to get there close to sunset so I can admire the scenery. It's the perfect way to begin a beautiful meal.
