Ahoy there, Katherine, and thanks for sailing back to planDisney with such a fun question.
While I wish I had a crystal ball from Merlin himself, I can’t say with certainty exactly which films will be showing during your January 2026 sailing. That said, I’m happy to share what is currently playing aboard the
Disney Treasure, as the lineup often stays similar with a few changes as new releases arrive. For instance, A Very Jonas Christmas is showing right now, but I would not expect that one to stick around once the holiday season wraps up.
On the bright side, I just stepped off the Disney Wish with my family last week, and we were able to catch both Zootopia 2 and Avatar: Fire and Ash back-to-back nights. Since those are newer releases, there is a very good chance you will be able to enjoy them as well. As of now, these films are also playing in the Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas onboard:
- Elio (PG)
- Lilo and Stitch (2025) (PG)
- Moana 2 (PG)
- Zombies 4 (G)
- The Fantastic Four: First Steps (PG-13)
- Freakier Friday (PG)
- Tron Ares (PG-13)
One of my favorite Disney Cruise tips is to grab a popcorn bucket on the first night so you can enjoy those affordable refills all voyage long. It is the perfect companion whether you are watching a movie, catching a Broadway-style show in the Walt Disney Theatre, or lounging on deck under the stars with Funnel Vision.
Since you like to plan ahead, you might also be happy to know that your sailing is currently scheduled to host
Pirate Night on Night 4, following your day in Grand Cayman. If the weather plays along, you can look forward to fireworks at sea after the Deck Party. You will also want to pack something a little extra sparkle for Formal Night on Night 2 and Semi-Formal attire for Night 6. For the most up-to-date schedules, movie times, and dining rotations, be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you leave home and then connect to the free DCL-Guest WiFi once onboard.
Katherine, I can’t think of a better way to start the New Year than aboard the Disney Treasure. If any other questions pop up before embarkation day, don’t hesitate to sail back to us here at
planDisney.
Bon voyage,
Sami
