Disney Treasure is such a beautiful ship, and exploring Castaway Cay by bike is one of my favorite ways to soak in the island. It's the perfect opportunity to venture beyond the beach and discover a few hidden gems that many Guests never get to see!
When it comes to booking
bike rentals on Castaway Cay, the 8:00 AM reservation time is really just a placeholder that appears for most sailings. Even though your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app shows that time, you can head over to the bike rentals stand whenever it works best for your day on the island to pick up your bike. They have a large fleet of bicycles available, so the reservation isn't tied to a specific pickup time like many Port Adventures are. Instead, it simply reserves your rental and gives you the flexibility to fit it into your island plans.
One of my favorite stops is the observation tower. The trail loops off the old airstrip and leads to the tower, where you'll be rewarded with an incredible panoramic view of
Castaway Cay. It always reminds me of the moment in Up when Carl and Russell finally stop to take in the view instead of focusing only on the destination. Sometimes the best part of the adventure is taking a moment to look around!
