Hi Kelly!
I'm so happy to hear that in this digital age your daughter still enjoys sending mail to her friends! I, too, am a big fan of "snail mail", and get so excited to get a personal note from a friend when I visit the mailbox. What fun to get a note from a friend who's sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey!
The cruise staff at Guest Services (in the main lobby) will be more than happy to help mail your daughter's postcards. You'll find a large assortment of fun Disney postcards for sale in the onboard shops, and you'll also find a few free ones in the desk drawer in your stateroom! As for postage, you
will need postage from the country you're mailing the post cards from. Guest Services should have postage available for purchase. In my experience, mail I've sent from the cruise ships has been a bit slow. Let your daughter know that you might be home from your trip for a few weeks before her friends receive their mail!
A fun idea (that will thrill her buddies) is to have Disney characters sign the post cards before you send them. A note from a friend is fun, but how much more fun if it's signed by a Disney Princess or two?
I hope you have an awesome vacation on the
Disney Magic. Happy sailing, and happy mailing!
Have a magical day! - Diane W.
