Hi! We are sailing soon (March 2nd) on the Disney Fantasy and I was curious if you knew what movies might be showing, thank you so much! - Molly

Hi there, Molly! Your Disney Cruise is right around the corner and it sounds like you’re already planning out your days at sea, so I’m glad you sailed by planDisney for some extra insights.

Is there anything better than watching a Disney movie on a Disney Cruise? There are several ways to watch your favorite Disney films, so allow me to present you with my three best options.

First of all, you can visit the Buena Vista Theater, which you’ll find on Deck 4, Midship, of the Disney Fantasy. These are the movies you can expect to see on the week of your sailing:
    - Descendants: The Rise of Red
    - Inside Out 2
    - Disneynature: Tiger
    - Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes
    - Elemental
    - Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
    - Wish
    - Deadpool & Wolverine
    - Moana 2
    - Mufasa: The Lion King
    - Captain America: Brave New World

Yes, you read that last line correctly! While entertainment is subject to change, you should be able to see the latest installment of Captain America onboard! My pal Kami just sailed last week and they even had Captain America shield popcorn buckets and insulated tumblers available for purchase at the concession stands. I love how affordable the popcorn bucket refills are and I also use those tumblers at the complimentary soda stations around the pool deck.

It’s also worth noting that for Rated R films, like Deadpool & Wolverine, Guests under 17 will need to be accompanied by a guardian who is 21 or older for the duration of the movie.

Perhaps my favorite way to watch movies onboard is via Funnel Vision, which is located above Donald's Pool atop the Forward Funnel on the Disney Fantasy. It’s equally great with a soft-serve ice cream while lounging in the sun during the day, or with an aforementioned soda and popcorn refill under the stars after dinner.

Finally, you can also catch Disney Entertainment content, including films, in your stateroom. This is a great option if you want to grab a nap during the day or if the kids want to watch a movie before falling asleep at night. Remember, you can always call room service to have cookies and milk delivered to your room or, my personal favorite, a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar.

You’ve got me dreaming of my next Disney Cruise now! If any other questions come up before your trip, don’t hesitate to head back to us here at planDisney!

    Embrace the magic,
