Hi there, Carina!
Welcome to planDisney. My first Disney Cruise was onboard the
Disney Wonder, and it forever holds a special place in my heart. My kids were enthralled seeing their favorite Disney Characters while sailing through the ocean. It was an incredible voyage!
I just checked the itinerary for the Disney Wonder sailing that departs on May 8, 2025, and it currently has one evening designated as
Pirate Night. Yay! Pirate Night is always a highlight of my family's Disney Cruises! We like dressing in themed pirate outfits, although sometimes we just wear pirate shirts and accessories. That is one of the great parts of sailing on a Disney Cruise - you decide how elaborate you want your outfits to be (as long as they meet
dress code requirements, of course)!
Below is the current attire schedule for that sailing. Keep in mind that schedules are subject to change, which is why I recommend checking the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app after boarding the ship for more updated information.
- Thursday: San Diego - casual
- Friday: at sea - optional dress-up
- Saturday: at sea - Pirate Night
- Sunday: at sea - casual
- Monday: Vancouver - disembark
I highly recommend making brunch reservations at
Palo, the adult-only restaurant that serves out-of-this-world dishes! I usually get breakfast for my kids and then drop them off at
Disney's Oceaneer Club before heading to brunch with my spouse. Our kids like to play with their new friends while we get to go on a date. Everyone is happy! There is an additional fee to dine in Palo, but it is worth it. Everything we have eaten there is delicious! Palo reservations fill up quickly, so confirm your
booking window dates ahead of time. You can also try stopping by
Guest Services on Embarkation Day if you are unable to get reservations before your sailing.
Carina, have a magical voyage onboard the Disney Wonder! Do not hesitate to reach out to planDisney again if you have additional questions!
Happy sailing!
Jen
