    We are sailing out of Port Everglades in FLL on Nov 13 for a Very Merrytime Cruise. However,to be safe,we are flying in the day before on Thursday the 12th. What transportation options do we have the morning of the cruise? Thanks! Teresa in Texas

    Hi, Teresa!

    I love your plans as you are doing all my favorite things: Cruising with Mickey, celebrating the holidays with a Very Merrytime Cruise, and taking a bonus day in Fort Lauderdale. It sounds like the perfect vacation to me!

    Fort Lauderdale is super convenient as the cruise port and airport (FLL) are very close in proximity. If you choose to book a nearby hotel, you will easily be able to schedule a rideshare to the port the morning of your cruise. Many hotels are 15 minutes or less away by car. 

    If you choose one of the preferred hotels in Fort Lauderdale: Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa, Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, or Omni Fort Lauderdale, you have the option of booking Disney Cruise Line ground transportation. A motorcoach will pick you up at your hotel the morning of your cruise and drive you to the cruise terminal. You may also opt for transportation to the airport post-cruise. Call Disney Cruise Line to book your ground transportation. Space is limited, so make sure to reserve your transfers as soon as you have your travel plans secured. 

    Once onboard your Disney Cruise ship, you will have the option of so many amazing activities. Check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to check out all that is happening during your sailing. Test your knowledge with Trivia, try your luck with BINGO, or just sit back and enjoy a movie. Do as little or as much as you desire during your magical cruise!
