    We will be sailing in october to the western carribian and was wondering what kind of weather it expect?

    Hi Kelly,

    On a typical October day, during the early morning hours you will probably find the temperature will be around 78 degrees. Typically the temperature will rise to around 85 degrees by early afternoon. In the early evening, temperatures will go down to about 79 degrees.  It's usually sunny and pretty breezy throughout the day.  As for water temperatures, count on it being at least 10 degrees cooler than the air temperature.
