Ahoy there, Christopher! Welcome aboard planDisney!
Ah, a
Halloween on the High Seas itinerary! Having JUST disembarked one myself, I can tell you with 100% confidence that there is no better special itinerary to sail on in my opinion! The decor, the Mickey's Mouse-querade, and the adorable costumes our favorite characters wear for greetings and around the ship - it's truly festive like no other!
When it comes to Mickey's Mouse-querade and other Halloween-themed activities, these are typically not held during meal times! In fact, on my family's most recent cruise, the trick-or-treating activity was at around 3 p.m., which gave us plenty of time to take part, grab a pre-dinner soft serve, AND still work up an appetite before we had our first dinner seating!
When it comes to
Pirate Night, that tends to be on whichever day you are scheduled to call on
Castaway Cay! Again, you'll want to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app as soon as you climb aboard to confirm the itinerary's schedule. This way, you will have an opportunity to adjust your reservation once aboard to avoid missing out on anything that may have shifted, since entertainment offerings are always subject to change!
One "planDrew-approved" tip: if you have the early seating, you can always book the latest adult-exclusive dining reservation available and do an appetizer-only night at your main dining rotation! It's a fun way to enjoy both your main dining AND your reservation at either
Palo or
Remy if you're willing to do so!
I hope that helps you set a course for an incredible experience for you and your crew, Christopher! Thank you so much for your question, and if you have any others, please drop us another line here at planDisney!
Oh, and watch out for Ghost Ships...
Andrew
