Hi. We will be sailing Oct. 24-28, 2016 for our first cruise. Will there still be a pirate night and a sail away celebration on the Halloween on the High Seas Cruise? Thanks

    Ahoy Helen –

There is nothing more exciting than planning that very first Disney Cruise. After taking my first Disney cruise, I was hooked! Your family will have an amazing experience sailing in October since the weather will be pleasant and it will be Halloween on the High Seas (LET ME HEAR YOU SAY “OH YEAH!”). My crew loves all of the themed cruises, and Halloween on a Disney Cruise ship is a delightful experience.  To answer your question, YES, there will still be a Pirate Night onboard your cruise so make sure to pack your pirate gear in your treasure chests. Pirate families are also invited to bring their Halloween costume for the special events onboard.  Every cruise begins with a Sail Away Celebration with Mickey and his friends where you leave your cares behind and start the vacation with a party! Helen, your pirate crew is going to have a blast this October. Thanks for cruising by with your excellent question and please come back to “sea” us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
