We are sailing out of NY to Canada in October. I know it will be chilly but my kids would not care. Will all the water features still be open to anyone who is brave enough. Also are the pools heated?

Hello, Marichu! Welcome to planDisney. Thank you so much for visiting us with your question.

I see your kids are just like Elsa... the cold doesn't bother them! While I prefer to be wrapped in a blanket with a cup of hot cocoa on the pool deck when the weather gets chilly, your kids will be happy to know that the pool and water features will be open even when it is cold. The water is heated when the temperature falls below 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

I hope that's great news for your brave children! I just suggest they have a towel nearby to wrap up in when they are ready to dry off. And, as I mentioned, there is hot cocoa available at the beverage stations if they need a warm treat after swimming. If they are like my kids, they will just go straight for the soft-serve ice cream even when it's cold.

Marichu, there is something for everyone to enjoy onboard. When your children aren't splashing in the water features, there are plenty of activities and entertainment options throughout the ship. You can keep track of everything that is happening with the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are onboard the ship. There will be a Daily Activity Schedule that lists all of the planned activities including character meet and greets, movie showtimes, crafts, live music, and more.

Have an incredible time, and please sail back to planDisney if you have any further questions. My pals and I would love to point your compass toward adventure with Disney Cruise Line.
