Hi there, Chelsea!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, fellow Texan! I bet you are so excited for your upcoming voyage with Captain Mickey and you have EVERY reason to! So much fun and adventure awaits you onboard and I know you will make some incredible memories. Since it is a
Very Merrytime voyage, you will certainly disembark full of festive spirit and ready for the holiday season!
Guess what?!?! I have some exciting news for you…you can expect to see
Frozen 2 onboard your voyage!!! How exciting is that?!?! I know my crew is eagerly anticipating the newest adventures of Queen Elsa and Princess Anna and I can’t think of a better place to see it than onboard a Disney Cruise Line ship! And, if you are onboard the Disney Wonder (which I suspect you may be since you are in Texas), where the live, Broadway-style show,
"Frozen - A Musical Spectacular" is performed, that would be even more exciting! Disney Cruise Line always premEARs the newest releases on the same day they are released on land, and so, while always subject to change, I think there is a good chance you will get to see it during your time at sea!
When you visit Nassau, Chelsea, my recommendation with a little Mouseketeer would be to head to
Blue Lagoon Island for a beach day! It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the soft sand and clear waters! Even now that my boys are older, that is our “go to” for our day in Nassau! We always have such a great time and enjoy every minute of it! Another option is to go to Atlantis and visit the Aquarium there; but be aware that you may run into some height restrictions at the water park there, so you may want to steer clear of that and just see the fish! Maybe you will even spot Nemo!
Hopefully this information is helpful for you in your final planning stages, Chelsea! I wish you a spectacular adventure at sea with many memories made!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
