    We will be sailing in November on the Dream. I have booked my 1yr old daughter Nursery time each evening from 8pm-10pm, but I want her to be a part of the Pirates Deck Party and fireworks. What time does the Pirate Party & firework show begin?

    Ahoy Again Ginger –

    We are so glad that you came back to visit with us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your cruise on the Disney Dream is a month away – you must be so excited! Very soon you will leave your cares behind and discover what fun it is to live a pirate’s life while on the Dream. I am pleased to help with planning for Mickey’s Pirates In the Caribbean show and Buccaneer Blast.

    The first deck show happens between 7:45PM and 8:15PM so that guests from both dinner seatings can attend – this is the Pirates in the Caribbean show on Deck 11 Midship. After that, guests are invited to enjoy dinner or the live action Broadway show in the Walt Disney Theatre. The fireworks occur after dark at the Buccaneer Blast around 10:30PM. Based on these times, it looks like you planned your evening just right.

    Now, let me caution you that the shows and fireworks may be loud and a bit of a sensory overload for some pirate babies. My sea pup could not tolerate the show because of that (and mostly because it was so far past his bedtime that he was unhappy anyway). If your little pirate cannot stay up that long, check with the Youth Counselors in the Nursery since they usually stay open late for Pirate Night.
