We are sailing on the November 20 cruise out of Galveston. Would a 3 year old and a 1 year old need a negative COVID-19 test 2 days before sailing?

    Welcome to planDisney Kevin!

Sailing out of Galveston sounds like so much fun! Add this to my Disney Cruise Line bucket list for sure. I hope you and your crew have an amazing time onboard.

Please carefully read through Know Before You Go for information regarding Covid testing for your little sailors. Per the website:
"Guests 4 years of age and under, who are not vaccine-eligible because of age, must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result (paid for by a parent or guardian). The test must be taken no more than 3 days before the sail date. The test should be a Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT), a rapid PCR test or a lab-based PCR test. Rapid antigen tests are not accepted. This will be the first of 2 tests required for Guests ages 4 and under; the second test will be conducted at the terminal prior to embarkation (paid for by Disney Cruise Line)."

I would like to add that information is always changing and being updated, so review all information as you get closer to your sail date.

Once you get on the ship, it is time to get the party started! Kick off your cruise with a delicious lunch buffet at Cabanas. After settling into your stateroom, you can head up to the pool deck for a super fun, family friendly Sailing Away Deck Party! Your kids will be dancing and having fun as your voyage sets sail. What a great time for all!

Your cruise is not too far away so let the countdown to your cruise begin!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
