Hello there, Monisha!
Thanks for cruising to planDisney with your question. I'd love to help you feel prepared for your upcoming Disney Cruise. Fun, magic, and beautiful sights are just around the corner!
I understand the desire to experience an adults-only
Port Adventure. Part of the fun of a Disney Cruise is the opportunity to spend time as grown-ups while the kids are happily occupied in the exciting youth spaces onboard! It's important to plan, however, as meals and snacks are not provided in the kids' club. Beginning at age 8, and with guardian permission, children may check themselves in and out of
Disney's Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab. Food is available near the pool most of the day. Depending on the age of your children, this might be a solution that you are comfortable with. If you will be leaving the ship while children are in the youth spaces, please notify the counselors at the club of your plans and leave them with a way to contact you.
When you are all onboard and looking for something fun to do together as a group,
Midship Detective Agency has you covered. You can play this interactive game throughout your sailing to help solve a mystery. One of the great things about this activity is that you can take a break at any time and resume when you'd like. Just be sure to take good notes while you are on the case! You can begin your self-guided game by picking up a card and case file on Deck 5, midship.
Monisha, I'm wishing you a wonderful sailing! Enjoy the ocean breeze and the happiness that comes from stepping aboard a Disney Cruise.
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
