Ahoy William! Thanks for visiting planDisney as you prepare to set sail this coming October. Welcome!
Your voyage sounds like it is going to be incredible. I’ve always wanted to sail from New York to Canada. I hear it is a unique and very lovely itinerary. Some day I hope to see it for myself!
I just looked into the
recommended guidelines for guests arranging independent air travel for their return flights home after cruising out of New York. The Disney Cruise Line suggests that guests do not book an outbound flight before noon on the day of debarkation. Now, 11:55 a.m. is very close to noon, so I’ll leave that to your discretion!
If you’d like to leave the details of driving to the Disney Cruise Line, you can always add ground transportation to your cruise reservation. This can be accomplished by
calling Disney Cruise Line directly with your request.
You’ll be sailing in October, which is my favorite time of year to set sail with Captains Mickey and Minnie. That’s because of the
Halloween on the High Seas voyages during the fall. I love to see the ship decorated for the spooky season, and my family especially enjoys the Halloween festivities. If you’d like to dress up, there is a special adults-only Halloween party and costume contest. Whether you like to get decked out in a costume or not, it makes for a fun and comical evening!
Be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app prior to embarking on your cruise. Once you step on the ship, the app will be your first mate to guide you to what is happening around the ship and when and where to find it! With all that there is to see and do onboard, I hope that you have a frightfully fun time.
Please cruise our way again if you have any further questions. My pals and I are always happy to help!
Have a wonderful voyage,
Adrianna
