Hello! We are sailing on the 4-Night Very Merrytime Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral with my 6 month old baby. Does the ship provide playyard or small cribs? Is there an additional charge? How much? How can I reserve it? Thank you in advance.

    Hi there, Aylin!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited to sea that you will soon be embarking on a Disney Cruise Line vacation!  Your adventure is just around the corner and I know you must be so excited for all the fun that awaits you!

I absolutely love that you are traveling with a tiny Mouseketeer!  My husband and I took our young boys on their first Disney Cruise Line vacations when they were both about the size of your little one and we had the best time.  While our boys won’t remember much of the vacation, we have some very memorable memories from them!  And, thankfully, Disney Cruise Line makes traveling with little ones super convenient for parents!  You can request a pack and play for your stateroom for your little one as well as a diaper pail for your stateroom!  You can add in this request into your “My Reservations” page online or you can call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 to have your reservation noted.  If you pre-reserve it, it will likely be in in your stateroom when you arrive on embarkation day!  Your stateroom host or hostess will set it up each day for you (or if you choose to keep it set up all day for naps, just let them know to not break it down each day) and empty the diaper pail for you daily.  Your stateroom will have a privacy curtain that separates the stateroom making it a great place for baby to sleep during the day or if they go to bed a little earlier than you do.  I do recommend that if your baby is used to sleeping with a white noise machine to go ahead and bring one with you.  The hallways are usually fairly quiet, but it’s always a nice idea to keep things as normal as possible when traveling with littles!

    Happy Sailing!
