Ahoy there, Jessica, and welcome to planDisney ahead of your
Halloween on the High Seas cruise next month. I’d be delighted to help you plan out your dining attire for each spook-tacular night!
I love that you’re already thinking ahead so you can be ready for every magical moment. It looks like you'll be sailing on the 5-Night Bahamian Cruise on the Disney Dream from Fort Lauderdale. While schedules are always subject to change, here’s an overview of what you can expect for your sailing if that's the case.
Nights 1 and 5 will be Cruise Casual, which means you can start and end your trip however you’d like. On Night 2, after your day in my absolute favorite Disney port of
Castaway Cay, you’ll want to break out your
Halloween costumes for Trick or Treating and some holiday fun. Then, after dinner, get ready for the festive Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party on deck!
Speaking of
deck parties, on Night 4, after spending a delightful day on Disney’s other island destination,
Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, pull out your finest pirate garb for
Pirate Night! While I’ve seen fellow Guests go all-out when it comes to what they wear, I typically pack a white top, black pants, red shoes, and then don the bandana that will be awaiting you in your stateroom before dinner. Weather permitting (and assuming Jack Sparrow and his crew don’t cause trouble), you’ll also enjoy a rabble-rousing party on deck after dinner, followed by the most beautiful display of fireworks at sea.
To round out your
packing list, Night 3 will be your optional Dress-Up Night, which is a wonderful opportunity for family photos in the atrium before dinner. You can also schedule a complimentary session with the
professional photographers onboard. Please also remember to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App daily once onboard for the most accurate showtimes, schedules, and updates.
Jessica, with this plan in hand, you can pack for every special night onboard and get ready to make memories that will last a lifetime. I hope your sailing is filled with tons of fun and candy, but if you think of any other questions before you set sail, I hope you’ll float back to us here at
planDisney!
Embrace the magic,
Sami
