Hi there, Sara Beth!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR you have an adventure with Captain Mickey planned for next month! I haven’t been on a 2-night voyage (yet!), but I can’t think of a more perfect weekend getaway! If this is your first Disney Cruise Line vacation, two-nights onboard will give you a glimpse into what a longer voyage offers, and I bet you will find yourself eager to
book another adventure at sea!
Your two-night voyage does in fact have a Pirate Night, which includes a firework display at the conclusion of the fun
Pirates IN the Caribbean deck party. But that being said, you can certainly skip the fireworks – and even the deck party, if necessary – and head to your stateroom and you likely won’t hear a thing! And, I say this from experience because when we first started cruising with Captain Mickey, we would never make it to the deck party because my boys were so little, and we never even saw (or heard) the fireworks from our stateroom! Now that we have experienced it, I will say that the deck party is so much fun and I would recommend attending it but prepare yourselves to duck out a few minutes early to avoid the fireworks, if need be! While always subject to change, currently Pirate Night is scheduled for Night One of your voyage and once you get onboard, the
Navigator app will provide you with a schedule of the evening’s events and activities!
Wishing you the most magical of adventures at sea, Sara Beth, and I hope this information helps you prepare for your vacation! If you have any other questions, please come back!
Happy Sailing!
