Ahoy there, Melissa! I couldn’t think of a better summer vacation than a
9-Night Mediterranean Disney Cruise that visits the Greek Isles. I bet you’re already counting down the days until embarkation on your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, so let’s get that
packing list all set by discovering the different theme nights you can expect onboard.
It looks like you’ll have three different theme nights during your sailing on the
Disney Fantasy:
- Formal Night on Night 2
- Pirate Night on Night 4
- Semi-Formal Night on Night 8
The remainder of the evenings are deemed “Cruise Casual”, which means jeans, khakis, or even shorts are appropriate in the main dining rooms.
You may be wondering what the difference is between Formal and Semi-Formal attire. For men, this might mean the difference between wearing a tuxedo and a suit, or perhaps a suit on Formal Night and a sports jacket on Semi-Formal Night. For ladies, we might choose a gown for Formal Night and a dress or pantsuit for Semi-Formal Night. Of course, this is YOUR cruise, so if you choose to dress cruise casual every night, that is perfectly acceptable as well.
I thought you'd also like to know that in addition to the
“Pirates in the Caribbean” Deck Party after your day in Piraeus, Greece, you’ll get to celebrate Mickey's Color Spin Deck Party after an incredible stop in
Santorini. Speaking of color, you're going to love all the white buildings with blue roofs on the island, so grab lots of pictures as you pull into port.
Get ready to dine on plenty of delicious dishes and tempting treats, both onboard and during your ports of call. If you think of any other ways we can make your Mediterranean adventure even more magical, I hope you’ll visit us here at
planDisney again soon.
Bon voyage,
Sami
